Position: Quality Technician

Reporting to: Quality Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Test Equipment to test the electromechanical equipment produced by Marco Beverages.
  • Conduct reliability testing of the following:
  • Product
  • Software
  • Taste & Smell of liquids dispensed by Marco products
  • And others as applicable
  • Carryout inspection of incoming material/products, document the results and report findings to the Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering and Quality Managers.
  • Carry out Quality Assurance Test & Inspection of Marco products to include but not limited to:
  • 40 Hours running
  • 12 Hours running
  • Real life operating condition simulation (break the machine)
  • Carryout inspection of incoming material/products, document the results and report findings to the Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering and Quality Managers.
  • Conduct out of box product audits (functional testing and inspections), record results and report findings to the Engineering, Operations and Quality Managers.
  • Conduct product and component failure analysis, record results and report findings to the Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality Managers.
  • Initiate action to eliminate customer complaints and improve product quality.
  • Support the development, documenting and continuous improvement of systems and procedure to comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and our customers that effectively integrate with Marco’s business needs.
  • Conduct systems audits to test the compliance of management system. The key documents required are but not limited to:
  • Audit schedule
  • Audit plan
  • Audit reports
  • Support the development of detailed workmanship standards for Marco products.
  • Develop acceptance and rejection criteria.
  • Create standards and document these.
  • Train users to effectively implement the quality standards across all Marco sites.
  • Support, when required, supplier audits, assessments and evaluations. Document findings and report findings to the lead auditor.
  • Support Marco customers to resolve problems indirectly or directly through site visits.
  • Support other Marco sites and suppliers to resolve problems indirectly or directly through site visits.
  • Other duties as assigned to you by the Quality Manager.

Qualification

  • Certificate or Diploma in mechanical or electronics.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Visio.
