LOVE TO WIN OR INCREASE SUCCESS RATE?

To develop a culture of success in any aspect of life; career, relationships, lifestyle management, Spirituality etc. certain disciplines are non negotiable. These are very basic disciplines, they are not complex but they require character to make second nature.

a. Prioritising Daily: Do not be deceived, you can not do many things at once very well but you can do a few things excellently well. If these things are aligned to a specific goal or objective, then you’re well aligned to excelling. Identify what is really important and prioritise them daily. I do my best to make a priority list every evening which aligns to my immediate objective, which is tied to my broad goal.

b. Focus: Distraction is the biggest upset to succeeding and maintaining success as a culture. This is so because the distractions are always subtle. The culture of winning can not be developed if you do not kill distractions. You have to develop systems around you that enables you to be single minded on your priorities. To focus you need to learn to say NO to many and YES to very few. Getting this right is a huge game changer.

C. Consistency: the discipline of repeating A and B above is the real magic wand to winning in any defined area of your life. the success of any discipline is buried in your ability to maintain absolute consistency (rigorous repetition) daily even when you do not feel like it.

My Recommendation: Identify an aspect of your life (Career, Relationship, Lifestyle management, Spirituality etc.) where you really desire to win.

  • Set a clear Goal
  • Daily identify priorities that align to the achievement of that goal
  • FOCUS… FOCUS …. FOCUS on executing each priority task daily
  • Stay consistent.

There is no magic to wining dear friend, its important you develop this disciplines so you can retain whatever wins you get and also replicate same.

Would love to hear your thoughts.
