LikeFriends is expanding its creative and strategic offering with international reinforcements.

LikeFriends is expanding its team to meet partner challenges.
LikeFriends is heading into the new year with reinforcements in the creative, strategic and client services. Sheldon Bont and Jelena Vukas add to our creative strength, while Manos Magoulas and Martijn Ros will bring their expertise to client services and strategy respectively.
Stef de Jong, Founder LikeFriends: “As an agency, we’re building off of our social media foundation, to become a creative and strategic partner for our clients brands. The new team is the our first step in achieving this ambition. Our heart will always be a digital one, but now has a robust creative and strategic beat.”
The additions will be complete when Strategist Martijn Ros joins the team in the coming weeks.
Sheldon Bont
Being a proper Canadian Sheldon stuffed a backpack and headed to Europe for just a year abroad. More than a decade and a few passports later he’s worked with Ogilvy, XXS and, in the role of CD or ECD, for Y&R Amsterdam, Noise and Being There on a range of clients including Netflix, C1000, Activia and Amstel. He has souvenirs of his stay from Cannes, The One Club, New York Festivals, Esprix and Clio.
When not managing the creative department’s music playlists, Sheldon is also responsible for the overall creative output of LikeFriends.
Jelena Vukas
Croatian-born and globally bred, Jelena Vukas has worked for agencies such as R/GA, Y&R Sydney, AKQA and Amsterdam Worldwide in Amsterdam, Sydney and Auckland where she made many traditional and digital adverts that have been appreciated by clients, consumers and even a few award shows.
Jelena joined the team in the capacity of concept and copy. Her talent for playing devil’s advocate during tea breaks is as delightful as her creative abilities.
Manos Magoulas
Manos still isn’t sure if he got the best deal when he swapped the sunny Greek shores for the cold, rainy charm of Amsterdam’s canals. We’re happy he did, since arriving he’s earned his stripes as Account Director for agencies such as Y&R, Ogilvy and Blast Radius, where he managed several high-profile international accounts.
Since joining the team, we haven’t had a single client leave a lunch meeting hungry. Manos is responsible for overseeing the management and evolution of our accounts.
Martijn Ros
A Dutch globetrotter who served diligently at Checkit/iProspect, then started his own agency integrating digital into brand DNA. In 2012 Bugaboo invited him to build their digital media team and strategy. For three years he led the digital marketing team responsible for the creation and evaluation of global digital marketing, before switching positions to become Bugaboo’s strategic marketing-lead across all platforms for the Asia-Pacific region.
Martijn will bring his eye for style and quality to freshen up the team, while working on brand strategy for clients, and in-house innovation projects.
