Let It Land!

Let It Land!

In the midst of life's storms, we often find ourselves engulfed in chaos and uncertainty. Our first instinct is to confront the crisis head-on and react impulsively without a clear mind. However, it took a hair-raising episode in my past to teach me a valuable lesson – in times of turmoil, it is crucial to first find our calm before navigating the storm.

Many years ago, on a scorching summer day, I was driving back to Dubai from Abu Dhabi alongside my mentor, Hari, and another colleague. As we entered Dubai I cruised in the fast lane at 75mph. Suddenly, the car ahead suffered a tire blowout, causing it to halt abruptly in front of me. In a split second, I swerved to the right avoid collision, but my vehicle spun out of control across the breadth of the 5-lane highway. I was trying to hold on to the wheel to regain control, and that’s when I heard Hari’s voice “Let go and don’t try to gain control. Let it land where it will land”. The car came to a halt unscathed, narrowly missing other vehicles on the road.

It was in that moment of surrender that I grasped a profound truth.

When things go out of control, as they sometimes will, trying to fight that force at that time will only make matters worse.

So, to those of you facing your worst crisis, I say - let it land. And when the storm settles, you are then the person at the wheel, taking charge, rather than those forces working against you. That’s when you are composed and can think clearly. That is when you can take charge, survey the damage and take corrective action.

 "Let it land!"

Amazing share KPD! Sometimes the most obvious is the most difficult to realise. Trust Hari sir to come up with such a thought in a life threatening situation as well! Thanks for sharing.

Extremely profound. It is also a very important lesson in manifesting when you just surrender and let the universe take control of your matters.
