Leadership & REJECTION
"The pessimist complains about the wind. The optimist expects it to change. The leader adjusts the sails.” ~ John Maxwell
Everyone experiences the sting of rejection, but mentally strong people use that pain to grow stronger and become better.
View Rejection as Evidence, You are Pushing the Limits
Mentally strong people know that rejection serves as proof that they're living life to the fullest. They expect to be rejected sometimes, and they're not afraid to go for it, even when they suspect it may be a long shot.
If you never get rejected, you may be living too far inside your comfort zone. You can't be sure you're pushing yourself to your limits until you get turned down every now and then.
Resilience is the antidote to Rejection. Refuse to Let Rejection Define You.
Mentally strong people don't make sweeping generalizations when they're rejected. One person's opinion, or one single incident, should never define who you are. Don't let your self-worth depend upon other people's opinions of you. Just because someone else thinks something about you, doesn't mean it's true.
Whether you learn about areas in your life that need improvement, or you simply recognize that being turned down isn't awful as you imagined, rejection can be a good teacher. Use rejection as an opportunity to move forward with more wisdom.
Once Narendra Modi’s Visa was rejected by the US
Today he’s at the podium, Number 1 and US president at number 5 on the popularity ranking of Global leaders.
This is power of Leadership taking rejection as a stepping stone to rise.
Rejection in life makes you strong provided you train your mind and heart to take it
Rejections only affect people who have a fearful mind, once you become fearless, rejection becomes learning curve
This is what Krishna did in Mahabharata, he trained a reluctant Arjuna’s mind to be fearless and focus on his task as the result is not in his hand
In Ramayana, Shri Rama gracefully took his rejection of getting crowned, with patience. His reaction to rejection was nil and he took a learning curve before he became Maryada Purushottam Shri Rama
What do Mountains teach you? Why do sadhus go to the mountains?
It teaches you PATIENCE and the music of silence. You become mentally strong. A strong mind can take rejections in life with ease which help in building strong Leadership qualities because when you are quite, you hear your own voice and when u are able to hear yourself, that spirituality in true sense
A very important lesson friends : Many times in our lives, we feel that life is crumbling, we may make some bad decisions or have to deal with some poor circumstances.
Sometimes life may make us feel worthless.
No matter what has happened or no matter what will happen, never lose your worth, never lose your value.
