Embrace a "name" things culture
During a recent meeting, someone referred to me as a person who consistently "names" things as they are, and I took it as a tremendous compliment.
It highlights the recognition of my commitment to clear and honest communication. It's an acknowledgment that I value language as a tool for fostering understanding and change.
Language, when used authentically and directly, can challenge the status quo, dismantle stereotypes, and inspire progress.
In a world where language can sometimes be used for obfuscation and evasion, the act of "naming" things stands as a symbol of clarity and integrity. It's about calling things what they are, without sugarcoating or using euphemisms.
Imagine a workplace where honesty and open communication are the norm, fostering trust, transparency, and accountability. By naming things as they are, you empower your team to confront challenges head-on and find constructive solutions.
This unapologetic approach to language can be a catalyst for change and a powerful force in shaping a healthier culture.

In my view language is important indeed, however in my experience language also gets distorted by people’s perceptions, lenses and biases they have when listening. So what could be a clean language that can transcend those as much as possible ? Thank you 🙏
