July Happenings at BCL
Security and Spectacle: The Intersection of Fireworks, Fourth of July, and Technology
Beyond their dazzling displays and patriotic symbolism, fireworks have benefited greatly from technological advancements in safety, precision, and audience engagement. Modern fireworks displays are choreographed using advanced software and automated firing systems, ensuring precision timing and spectacular visual effects synchronized to music.
The world of tech also plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and regulatory compliance of these events, with sensors monitoring environmental factors like air quality and noise levels. These intersections demonstrate how technology enhances both the spectacle and security of Fourth of July fireworks celebrations, blending tradition with innovation in ways that captivate audiences and preserve traditions.

The Ohio State University Stadium Suites
BCL renovated Ohio State Stadium's suites and lodge boxes, focusing on upgrading technology infrastructure, video walls, and security. Collaborating with OCIO and the stadium's AV Department, we designed IT, wireless, AV, and security solutions within a $2 million budget. We tailored IT and AV equipment to suit game-day and event needs, employed Construction Management for project oversight, and integrated with existing stadium systems - meeting university standards. This project showcases our commitment to enhancing stadium functionality with innovative technology solutions.
