The Journey Continues ...

The Journey Continues ...

Five years ago, my family and I set out on a journey to stretch ourselves. Professionally, it was time to prove to myself (and the industry) that I could build something outside of my comfort zone. Personally, there was value in demonstrating to our kids that you grow the most when you are forced to swim. Fortunately, our family can swim with the best of them and we are better for it. And, by the way, there are worst places to live (and swim) than St. Petersburg, FL!

Today marks my last day at MiLB after an incredible run. I am forever grateful to MiLB for welcoming me with open arms and for allowing me to have a prominent seat at the table to build a new business together. We accomplished a ton and, while it was not always easy, an aspirational vision, thoughtful strategy, industry-leading hustle, high performing diverse team and MiLB’s innovative spirit enabled us to reach new heights. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been given the opportunity to work with some of the best in the business in St. Pete, throughout MiLB’s 160 club eco-system and among our incredible roster of strategic partners and will cherish the relationships for a lifetime. Beyond the business results – and there were many – it’s the relationships that will forever bring the biggest smile. I am excited to watch the sport of baseball come back with a bang and will be your biggest fan for years to come!

On Monday, I am humbled and incredibly excited to join U.S. Soccer as Chief Commercial Officer. While returning to the sport that I care so deeply about was always a strong possibility, it needed to be at the right time and with the right organization. It’s the right time and it is absolutely the right organization. There is arguably no better time to be associated with the game with unprecedented momentum (at all levels), unparalleled success of the WNT, and the 2026 FIFA World Cup on the horizon. And, by the way, LA28! All that said, I am keenly aware that we – U.S. Soccer and the sport more broadly – have a lot of work ahead to give us the opportunity to reach our full potential. That’s the fun part.

Can’t wait to get after it starting on Monday …
