IT’S WHERE YOU FINISH THAT COUNTS!
I’ve been a Chicago Bears fan my entire life. In sports, the final score determines if you’re a winner or loser. You may start out strong, have great plays and even be leading for most of the game, but it’s the final score that counts.
It’s the same in the Recruiting Profession, it’s not where you start that counts, it’s where you finish each month, quarter and year that proves if you can attain peak performance.
Football Players start out as rookies, but their reputation, value and income potential are determined by their individual stats. Last year in 12 starts, Mitch Trubisky threw seven touchdown passes and in the first three games this year he only threw two. Many Bears fans were doubting his abilities. That was until this past Sunday’s game against the Bucs.
On Sunday he made his sixth TD of the day before the third quarter was halfway over to five different receivers. His performance silenced the “doubters” and will help catapult him into being a great quarterback!
It’s ridiculous how happy or upset I can get in seconds, depending on the results of each play of the game. I’m sure I would make better calls, than the entire coaching staff, which of course is not accurate. The Chicago Bears are now actually leading in the NFC North and I’m celebrating – at least for another week!
We all started out as rookies in the Staffing and Recruiting Profession. The level of success you enjoy depends on your training, the effort you put in, the obstacles you face and overcome, and your determination not to give up or let your competition beat you.
Your techniques and execution are important as well as your attitude and tenacity. Top producers don’t become over-achievers by chance, they set out to be a top producer. That is where they planned to finish – as one of the Best in our Profession.
The goal of every NFL team is to win the Super Bowl. They don’t just want to compete in the Super Bowl, they want to win it and gain the recognition, income, ring and rewards that go to the Winners!
You hold your success, the quality of your life and your destiny in your hands. Make a commitment today to do what it takes to have your BEST QUARTER EVER in the last quarter of this year. That will not only help you end the year strong, it will also set-up a record breaking 2019.
Will I ever see the Chicago Bears play in another Super Bowl? Who knows? But I sure like the way they finished their last three games. I’d also love to cheer for you, when you WIN and have your best quarter ever, in the last quarter of 2018! Step number one is setting that as your goal and then doing whatever it takes to get there!

6yVery well said! And, as a big football fan myself (my team is the Colts), I think Chicago is the real deal this year! With the addition of Mack, I think he and Trubisky have a chance to take them to the Big Game. Daaaaaaa Bears.
