INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2023- A TOAST TO WOMEN OF TACT.AI

As we enter the month of March, Tact.ai is proud to recognize Women's History Month and International Women's Day (IWD). This event offers an opportunity to celebrate, raise awareness, and express gratitude for the challenges and accomplishments of women throughout history.

International Women's Day, in particular, is an important occasion that brings together individuals, organizations, and communities to celebrate the progress that has been made toward creating a more gender-balanced world, while also acknowledging the work that is still needed to be done to create equal opportunities and representation in the workplace and beyond.

At Tact, we believe that a diverse workforce leads to better decision-making, innovation, and overall business success. As we celebrate International Women's Day in 2023, we want to toast to all the incredible women of Tact.ai to recognize and celebrate their accomplishments. So, we reached out to some of our inspiring colleagues across the globe to discuss and highlight their achievements.

I have worked with many amazing people throughout my career, but interestingly in the technology / SAAS space, not so many of them are women. I am very much a woman working in a man’s world, but that has never stopped me from being successful, you drive your own destiny.

What I always live by whether it be with customers or colleagues is, to be honest, and true to myself, do the best job that I can do and always treat others how I would like to be treated.

The quote that I like to live by is from Audrey Hepburn- “I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I believe in miracles.”

Happy International Women's Day to all the remarkable women at Tact!

I'm glad we have a Women’s Day that allows everyone around us to appreciate and celebrate women everywhere. It is not a day to let down the other gender(s), but rather to thank women for everything they do, the roles they play, the multitasking superpower that they possess, and the love and care that they demonstrate.

At Tact.ai, I recognize and appreciate the critical role I play. As a result, all employees, not just women, have equal opportunities and a voice. Employees and their well-being are of the utmost importance to me. We pay attention to them because there are times when people require extra help. Giving them flexible work hours, time off to recharge, working from home, transitioning to a hybrid work model, distributing the workload, staying in touch to build relationships so people don't fall into silos, encouraging them to pursue their passion or hobby, making them an active participant in various programs of interest, and so on. I really enjoy this part of my job, where I get to help and listen to our team and create a better and healthier work environment.

I am grateful for all the people who made me feel special, appreciated, and respected, allowed me to voice my opinion, genuinely heard it, made me feel inclusive and confident, and helped me fulfill my goals thus far. I must say, when we are surrounded by such a collaborative mindset of people, we are all building a better place for every woman!

I believe that International Women's Day is an excellent opportunity for us to remind ourselves of our strength and how far we have come!

As a creative person, I am always looking for new and exciting ways to engage myself and bring me one step closer to reaching my full potential.

My creativity enables me to approach and solve problems in a more open and innovative manner. As I am quite introverted, I tend to express myself through my work. Being appreciated for my work is something I cherish, and that is why Tact has been an excellent place to work.

Everyone here is friendly, helpful, and encouraging, and that helps me do my best work.

I truly believe that by working together, we can create a more equitable and inclusive world that benefits everyone. International Women's Day is a great time to reflect on that.

Being in Tact has been like a dream for me. I've learned so much here, and I'm still learning new things every day with my wonderful team.

It's been an incredible journey, from learning smaller projects to taking responsibility for things that influence major business decisions.

I also believe I have the best team, which allows me to grow and reach my maximum potential. We also have a great work-life balance at Tact, and our learning curve is very steep. I genuinely feel like celebrating the woman I am becoming lately!

Happy International Women's Day! Today, we celebrate the incredible achievements and contributions of women around the world. We honor the trailblazers who have fought tirelessly for equality and paved the way for future generations. We also recognize the ongoing work that still needs to be done to ensure that all women have the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.

At Tact, we strive to create an environment where each voice is heard, and everyone has a seat at the table. I think working with such an amazing and empathetic team has made me a better person and elevated the caliber of work that I do.

I want to add one quote that I particularly like from an essay on female ambition- “If you are one of those people who has that little voice in the back of her mind saying, “Maybe I could do [fill in the blank],” don’t tell it to be quiet. Give it a little room to grow, and try to find an environment it can grow in.”

I think International Women’s Day means different things to different people. For me, it means recognizing what women do, have done, and are capable of doing.

It’s not easy being a woman, whether it’s down to equality or not, women really do seem to pull the short straw through most of their lives.

I am a person driven by passion, and I’ve never thought of myself as a female engineer or a woman in tech. I just think of myself as someone who’s passionate... Passion is energy. I would say, “Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you.”

Learning new things excites me, and I get to do that every day here at Tact.ai. Sometimes the future changes quickly and completely, and we are left with only the choice of what to do next. We can choose to be afraid of it, assuming the worst that can happen; or we step forward into the unknown and assume it will be brilliant! And in order to do the latter, we need confidence, which is something that is built over time. I feel grateful to be working with amazing people and Teams here at Tact where they help me turn into this more and more confident person. Happy Women’s Day!!

As we celebrate International Women's Day, let's take a moment to acknowledge the incredible strength and resilience of women everywhere. We've faced countless challenges and obstacles, but we've never let them defeat us.

As Kendall Toole, the Peloton instructor says,"They can knock you down, but never let them knock you out."

This quote is a powerful reminder that no matter what life throws our way, we have the strength and determination to keep going. We may stumble and fall, but we always get back up.

I’m so thankful to be surrounded by strong women in my life. My mom, sister, friends, and coworkers; who are all brave, beautiful, and courageous women that inspire me to do my best every day.

So, to all the women out there, I want to say this: keep pushing forward. Keep striving for your goals and never let anyone tell you that you can't succeed. Remember that you are strong, capable, and deserving of everything you've ever wanted.

Happy International Women's Day!

As women, we are always asked to be more careful, conscious, and considerate, especially when sharing our opinions. But I believe that a woman brings a different perspective to every problem and helps with its resolution. Our empathy and listening skills also make us better people managers.

I have been working with Tact since the start of my career, and it has been a great journey. I felt confident and heard whenever I brought a point to the table. My views were respected and taken into consideration.

I think all women deserve an encouraging and supportive workplace in 2023. I want every girl/woman to know that your voice matters, and you have to speak up for others to hear you and understand you.

I feel that Women’s Day is a day that all women should take pause and appreciate their achievements to see how far they have come. Each of us in our own way, has overcome many obstacles to reach where we are, and we should all cheer for that success.

In Tact, the part I like best is freedom. I have always been encouraged to come up with a solution when I see a problem. It’s been an incredible journey for me here, from helping set up the Tact India office to building out the QA team. I have learned a lot in this process and have been able to be part of the growth journey of many incredible people that I work with.

Lastly, I would like to leave with something I was told recently.

“There is no limit to what a woman can achieve. Your limit is defined by what you think is possible. So don’t let anyone rob you of your imagination, your creativity, or your curiosity.”
