Why I'm the 'Sales Bouncer'... And You Should Be Too
Ever tried disqualifying before qualifying?
Sounds backwards, right?
But here’s my mantra:
I’m ALWAYS trying to disqualify.
Why? Let me spill the beans...
I drop truth bombs like:
- "Here's why folks usually pass on this... Sound familiar?"
- "Getting this up and running? Not a walk in the park. Your team's calendar might burst."
- "Warning: We tend to be on the pricier side. Your CFO’s eyebrows? They're about to rise."
Some sales gurus dub it the 'Challenger Sale.'
Me?
I call it "Not Playing the Time-Wasting Game, Buddy."
Admittedly, it’s a shift.
Shutting the door feels... odd. Awkward. Unnatural.
But here’s the real tea:
To nail those deals, to truly excel in sales, you gotta master ONE thing:
Becoming comfortable with the uncomfortable.
Because let's be real...
Your time? Worth its weight in gold.
Protect it. Cherish it. Own it.
