IF I HAVE TO GET ON ONE MORE ZOOM CALL!!

Ever since March 20, 2020 until about October 1, 2020, it has been one zoom call after the next. I'm constantly joining a zoom, starting one or just jumping off of one. Who knew that 2020 would be the year of the virtual summit, virtual funeral, virtual wedding, virtual graduation, virtual sighting of a man being executed before us #ripgeorgefloyd and I can go on and on about how many things became virtual literally overnight. So many virtual things happened that I wonder if we've forgotten how to do things in the natural outside of our homes without using laptops, smart phones or our desktops.

One thing I know is that we've increased our learning through our devices with online courses. I remember my first online class back in 1999. The user interface back then looked nothing like my online class does now some twenty years later. Back then it was just text, no emoji's, or cute icons and it sure the heck wasn't a gamified site with flashing lights, and celebration confetti possessing the ability to give you that dopamine rush of accomplishment you get with killer video games.

So, even though we are living and learning the way the cartoon the Jetsons' said we would how many of us are really maximizing this time to learn something new that can change our bottom line? Are we looking at online courses and virtual meetings as a way to glean valuable information? If we are in the right virtual room filled with education and stimulating activity that will help us to increase our bottom line are we being resourceful at the same time with the knowledge? Hopefully so, because like physical meeting spaces and classrooms we have to make sure the information being shared virtually is actually what we need and not another time waster. We don't need another virtual event to say we were there just planted in front of our phones and laptop. Time to create a mental space with plenty of room to receive all the information we need allowing us to create the expected income and maximum outcome with tangible results.

If you find yourself taking a bunch of random classes and attending one zoom after another consider finding something you really want to learn and maximize the heck out of it being fully aware that your valuable time shouldn't be wasted sitting in a zoom meeting or whatever platform it is feeling like your locked into a useless vacuum of endless master classes and meetings. Free yourself and find a class that expresses YOU!
