In a world increasingly dominated by AI and automation, there's one thing that will always set your brand apart: your humanity.

When I felt the nudge to start my video business back in 2004, I named it Epic Creative Group. Why? Because I believed then, as I do now, that everyone has a story - and it's epic. Most people don't realize the power of their own story, but there's so much we have to offer through our experiences, challenges, struggles, and triumphs.

I've had to overcome my own share of obstacles to finally believe that I can help people. And you know what? I've learned that producing the right kind of video can change the world... and it starts with your story. As we navigate this digital landscape, it's easy to get caught up in the allure of AI-generated content and automated marketing.

But here's the truth: your ideal clients aren't looking for perfection. They're looking for connection, authenticity, and real value. This is where video comes in. It's not just about showing your face (though that helps!).

It's about:

1. Sharing your genuine thoughts and experiences

2. Addressing your audience's real concerns and questions

3. Letting your personality shine through

4. Creating content that resonates on a human level

Sure, AI can help streamline processes and generate ideas. But it can't replicate your unique insights, your passion, or the way you light up when talking about your work.

So here's my challenge to you: Create something real this week. 

• Hop on a quick video to share a recent learning

• Write an email from the heart (like this one!)

• Host a live Q&A session with your audience

Remember, your brand isn't just a logo or a product. It's you. Your experiences, your knowledge, your quirks - that's what people connect with.

Your story is your differentiator. Now is the time to leverage it.
