Human Experience Management

Human Experience Management

Human Experience Management [HXM] is not about making incremental improvements to traditional HCM platforms, indeed, it goes way beyond that. Its focus is on re-designing the end-user experience across the entire HR ecosystem.

In other words, HXM is about creating personalized employee experiences. And it allows candidates, new hires, recruiters, employees, managers, and HR leaders to do things more quickly and more easily so they can be more productive, whether that’s from recruitment to training to retirement.

New technologies such as AI and ML deliver recommendations that employees can use to guide them to make the right decisions, which is exciting because for the first time this approach puts the employee right at the very center of the action throughout his or her entire employee lifecycle, at the moments that matter to them, instead of having the technology defining the HR and talent management processes, which is what has always happened in the past.

HXM marries together elements of Qualtrics with different parts of the SAP SuccessFactors portfolio and was launched at the end of 2019. The key differentiator between the traditional human capital management approach and HXM is that the employee is not an interchangeable asset. Just as we do with our customers, we need to take care of our employees and give them the best possible experience, no more so than at present. HXM is there to push processes and decisions beyond transactions. It is ALL about the employee experience being a critical part of accelerating business.

Taking care of the employee rather than only looking at staff as an asset, brings a series of benefits to partners, helping to differentiate them from the competition and having a huge impact on business growth.
