Is HubSpot worth its price?

Is HubSpot worth its price?

So what's special about HubSpot? Actively working in the B2B marketing field this is a question I get a lot, especially since the martech ecosystem has been exploding in the last few years with increased competition and overlap of tools' capabilities.

The question is even more important when taking into account the total cost of ownership that should include at least:

1) cost of migration from existing solutions

2) re-design of sales and marketing processes

3) re-training of staff on the new ways of working

4) re-design of funnels, forms, landing pages

5) deployment of tracking tools and campaign tags

6) integration of other tools that can't be replaced

7) the price of HubSpot itself

So back to our question, where does HubSpot shine? HubSpot excels in the seamless integration of all the tools and capabilities it has: putting the CRM at the center and building out sales automation, marketing automation, email marketing, social media management, campaign tracking, pre-sales and post-sales tools, landing pages and forms to collect data, reporting.

More importantly HubSpot has built a platform that plays well with other service provider of specialized tools.

Building an equivalent solution that is based on the integration of different tools, for example putting together a CRM with an external landing page tool that channels leads to an email marketing solution through webhooks usually ends up requiring months of integration work and many hours of maintenance per year. Not to talk about the hundreds of dollars that each piece of the stacks will certainly cost in licenses.

The end result is something that in some circles is known as FrankenSpot: a patchy and fragile software foundation on which you probably don't want to bet your whole company on.

So ultimately HubSpot wins at being the growth tool that, in the B2B space, is among the most solid and, probably most importantly, plug & play.

For startups choosing HubSpot is even more of a no-brainer since heavy discounts (up to 90%) are available for seed-stage and series A companies.

HubSpot is currently the foundation on which many successful organizations that serve the B2B space are built on. My wish for your business is that you'll be able to outgrow it and eventually require something else, because that would mean you've been massively successful!
