From Obscurity to Success: Why Attention is the New Currency for Growing Your Business?

From Obscurity to Success: Why Attention is the New Currency for Growing Your Business?

Let me tell you about my friend, who I recently visited. He has a fantastic product, but unfortunately, not many people know about it. Despite its incredible potential, the product has not received the exposure it deserves, which is hindering its growth.

As we sat down to catch up, my friend shared with me his frustration about the lack of attention his product was getting. He had poured his heart and soul into developing it, and he knew it had the potential to be a game-changer in his industry. However, without adequate exposure, it was difficult to get the attention of potential customers. Or to be more precise, to get the attention and commitment of his ideal customers.

How to get attention?

We discussed various ways in which he could increase exposure for his product. I suggested content marketing, as it is a highly effective way to capture attention in today's digital age. By creating valuable and relevant content, he could establish himself as an authority in his industry and build trust with potential customers. This, in turn, would make it more likely for people to engage with his brand and his product.

·        Social media was another avenue we explored. With billions of active users, social media platforms provide a vast audience for businesses to connect with. By creating eye-catching graphics, engaging videos, and witty captions, my friend could capture the attention of his target audience and increase his brand's visibility.

·        In addition, we talked about influencer marketing as a way to reach a wider audience. Partnering with individuals who have a large social media following would allow him to tap into their existing audience and leverage their credibility to promote his brand.

Despite these promising options, my friend was still concerned about the cost of marketing and advertising. He felt that he didn't have the budget to invest in these strategies, and he worried that the returns might not justify the expense.

·        I suggested to him to consider also email marketing, which is a highly cost-effective way to reach potential customers. By collecting email addresses from people who have engaged with his content, he could stay top of mind with potential customers and promote his products or services directly to them. Additionally, retargeting advertising was another cost-effective way to convert attention into sales. By displaying ads to people who have already engaged with his website or social media channels, he could focus his advertising spend on people who have already shown an interest in his brand.

Can you relate?

As we wrapped up our conversation, my friend felt hopeful and inspired. With a solid plan in place, he was ready to take his product to the next level and get the attention it deserved. By capturing attention through various marketing strategies and converting that attention into sales, he was confident that he could grow his business and achieve the success he had always envisioned. Even better, he want us to support doing just that!!

Are you in a similar position than my friend? Are you getting the sufficient attention from your customers? I’ll be excited to dedicate a couple of hours this week to discuss with any business looking to explore this conversation more.
