From $1K Months to $20K in 7 Weeks: Client Before and After Results

It took 7 weeks of working with me for one of my clients to get results far beyond what she was looking for. 

When we started in November 2021, she had been making a consistent $1K per month for the last 3 years, even with consistent posting on her Instagram account.

Frustrated at not seeing enough return for the effort she was putting in, and tired of working with clients who weren't the right fit, she reached out to me.

Client's Goal

Consistent $5K months, working only with ideal clients, within 8 months from her online channels - social media and email.

Reasons Why Current Marketing Strategy Wasn't Working

There were several reasons why the client's current marketing strategy wasn't working, including:

• Lacked a clear concrete offer, as a result could not articulate her offer in a way people knew what she offered.
• Ideal client was left too broad and undefined because the client believed everyone needed her offer.
• Was undercharging, resulting in needing to work with at least 30 clients per month to achieve goal.
• Content was not tied to an offer or created with intention or goal in mind, as well as lacking calls to action.
• No social media engagement outside of posting content (content was consistent using automation) - client was not even engaging with the comments left on her own content, skipping the opportunity to get conversations going.
• Was not deliberately connecting with her ideal clients.
• No content library - not using repurposing/reusing - instead, creating 100% brand new content resulting in spending hours a day creating content.

What We Changed to Bridge the Gap and Help the Client Achieve Her Goal

One of the first things we did was clarify the client's offer, messaging, goals, and ideal client.

Once we knew the who, what, where, and how's of everything, it was easy to tweak out everything else in her current marketing strategy so that it worked, resulting in the client signing 4 clients and making $12K Christmas week, from December 20 - 26, 2021.

Changes we made included:

• Tweaking her content to match the new details, include CTAs, and messaging in her offers.
• Made her content conversational instead of talking at people.
• Put time management into place and created a content library so the client went from working 4 hours a day, 7 days a week to 1.5 hours a day, 5 days per week in her business.
• Adding regular commenting and engagement to her marketing strategy.
• Mindset work around her marketing beliefs.
• Adjusted her pricing so she didn't need to work with so many clients to achieve her goal.

Client Results After 8 Weeks

During the 8-week period of us working together, the client signed 7 IDEAL clients, and put $20K in the bank.

Client had 3 months of content created, planned, and supporting her new offers.

Plus, was working A LOT less.

And we did it by taking what currently worked, tweaking it, creating clarity on her offer and ideal client, then dumping everything that wasn’t necessary, creating results that fast.

Social media results:

• Instagram - 20% increase in followers, mostly ideal clients - engagement up 33%
• LinkedIn - 26% increase in connections, all ideal clients - engagement up 27%
