As First S/4HANA Customer European Schools applies for SAP HANA Award

European Schools being the first S/4HANA Customer applies for SAP HANA Innovation Award 2015.

Since 1953, European Schools have provided broad, high-quality education from nursery school through university, keeping pupils connected to their native language in a truly multilingual and multicultural environment.

There are 14 European Schools in seven EU-countries with roughly 25,000 students. To ensure that operations are aligned, the organization needed to replace a custom IT system which was more than 20 years old.

Using a rapid-deployment solution (RDS), European Schools deployed SAP® ERP powered by SAP HANA® and the SAP Simple Finance solution. By launching SAP Simple Finance using the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) service, they were able to streamline financial processes for greater accountability – helping to concentrate better to main mission - which is to provide high quality education for our students.
