Event Talks: Thank-you CSB and FSB

Last week, I had the pleasure to present at two amazing events.

Event 1: “The Pace of Ethical AI: Transforming Work and Life Beyond 2024” with the Careers Springboard (CSGX).

This presentation at the recent Careers Springboard Event covered how AI is revolutionising work and life, especially in today's job market. We covered into the realities of AI, its ethical use, and how it can benefit job seekers. It was all about demystifying AI, addressing concerns, and sharing practical tips for using AI to boost job search success. Based on the really positive feedback from attendees, they will have walked away with much clearer, more fact-based understanding of AI in recruitment and the evolving role of AI use in the workplace. 💡

The presentation “The Pace of Ethical AI: Transforming Work and Life Beyond 2024” slides are available on our free community zone

On the same page we also have released our jobseeker whitepaper “AI-Powered Pathways: Re-entering the Workforce with Confidence".

A big thank-you to everyone who attended and engaged, and gave lovely feedback. Special mention to Sally White, Jo Goodman, Michelle Page, the Careers Springboard Committee and @IsabelleBaker for their support before & during the event.

Event 2: “AI Future Direction: Strategies for Business Transformation” Federation of Small Businesses (FSB)

This presentation at the recent FSB Thames Valley Event covered the advancements in AI and wider topics such as Machine Learning, GPTs, and AI in music and video generation. We covered practical AI applications for small businesses, inspiring new business ideas and strategies. The audience left with actionable AI strategies to implement in their own ventures.

An equally big thank-you Tim Page and @JamesAnderson for inviting me to present and Peter Leicht, Christopher Weaver, Rachel Shackleton and other attendees for post event discussions and feedback.

Also, a shout out for Rolf Woodward for permission to include his Penny Farthing in the photoshoot - a perfect juxtaposition of advanced new AI and much older high end engineering!

Lastly, a great example of teamwork: A special shoutout to our Business Innovation Architect, Megan Maskrey, for her brilliant work in helping pulling together the respective presentations and co-developing the narrative and storyboards.

Both events highlighted AI's transformative power in careers and business.
