In London, our Global Marketing Team came together to explore the future of marketing where technology, empowerment, and inclusion drive innovation.

From embracing emerging tech like GenAI to fostering diverse perspectives, this workshop was a celebration of collaboration, creativity, and transformation. Together, we’re not just building campaigns—we’re shaping experiences that resonate globally.

Session 1: Thought Leadership in Action 🗣️💭🎤

We kicked off with a TEDx-style session hosted by the one and only Paul Hunter For 50 minutes, he set the stage for our lineup of brilliant speakers:

These thought leaders brought their insights on the changing dynamics of consumer demands, from Baby Boomers to Gen Z, and how the tech landscape is evolving to meet these needs.

🌟 Key takeaway: GenAI and immersive experiences are becoming the most critical skills and innovation engines in marketing. At Asahi, we're leveraging these advancements under our business-led Tech-Innovation Council to drive growth, optimization, and develop a skilled workforce ready for the future.

Session 2: Fire-side Chat on Creating Seamless Experiences 🔥🤝

The second session was a dynamic 25-minute Fire-side Chat led by the brilliant Global Marketing Director Malgorzata Lubelska, together with Tony Currie , Laurence Buchanan and Gavin Abery, which truly brought the room to life. This engaging discussion went beyond the usual focus on ROI and consumer experiences, delving into partnerships and the critical need for a consistent experience across both digital and physical touchpoints.

  • Partnerships 🤝: How strategic alliances can amplify brand impact and deliver enhanced customer value.

  • Seamless Experiences 🌐🛒: The importance of creating a consistent consumer journey—whether someone interacts with our brand online or walks into one of our physical locations.

  • ROI is about balancing the Recipe (company mandates and overarching goals) 🍲 with the Ingredients (leveraging the right technology, campaigns, and strategies) 🌿 to deliver meaningful results.

This session emphasized that today’s consumers expect holistic, unified experiences, making it crucial to align our digital strategies with our in-person engagements. By fostering strong partnerships and focusing on cohesive experiences, we can create deeper connections with our customers and drive long-term loyalty.

Session 3: Co-Creation Workshop with Copilot 🤖🛠️

This session, led by the brilliant Aurelia Costache, was all about exploration, awareness, and action. Aurelia kicked off the segment with a deep dive into GenAI capabilities, showcasing how tools like Copilot can transform workflows and enhance productivity in day-to-day tasks. From drafting creative content to managing data and workflows, she painted a compelling picture of how GenAI empowers teams to achieve more.

Following this, participants rolled up their sleeves for an interactive co-creation workshop 💡, putting what they learned into practice. The energy in the room was electric as teams brainstormed, collaborated, and brought their creative ideas to life. The session culminated in a Shark Tank-style presentation, where 4 teams pitched their innovative concepts—each demonstrating how technology could drive experience, growth, and optimization.
