DocSpeaks...Inner Glow
It is not our physical beauty that is the most important cherished jewel, but it is your inner beauty....your inner glow, full of emotions and brightened by charisma and character. Many times, you may feel that nothing you do matters...to you, your boss, employees, family, friends or... the others, but guess what? It matters most to you! What do you think? There are many others instruments that play in the band of life, but there is only one solo at a time. That's when YOU make the best of it. However, just because you may not officially have a solo at the time, that does not mean that what you are playing is not being heard by others and now they are playing quietly so they can hear your melody...your call for your inner glow. Your inner glow is important so keep playing! Let me elaborate.
The Burmese Army was at war with Thailand many years ago. The people of Thailand, now formally Siam, were and are devout worshipers of Buddha...their god. In the 1940's, a new highway was to be developed in Siam in the area where a monastery had been previously built, so some monks decided to move their image of Buddha, a large clay-like statute, to a new destination. Unfortunately, due to the weight of the image, moving this statute became a difficult task but a necessary one. After moving the statute for a short distance, the weather changed and it began to rain. Wanted to protect their cherished image, the monks covered the statute and began waiting in protected shelter until the rain had ended. After their return, the monks noticed that the statute had begun to crack and were able to see a small glow underneath. They eagerly began hammering and chiseling away the clay and what these monks found underneath this cherished image was an absolute beauty of God. This clay-like statute was actually solid gold and was approximately 10 feet high, weighing 2 tons and the brightness of the lighted sky. It was later learned the that the people of Siam had covered their statute in clay during the time of the invasion of the Burmese Army in fear of the it being captured. For years and years, nobody know that this beautiful work of God was covered by clay.
All of that inner beauty...that inner glow...covered by clay, molded to shape that inner beauty with its inner glow. Does that sound like you? Do you have an inner glow for a business that you have never begun or any other glow that you have covered up because of fears, finances, lack of confidence or other pebbles in your shoe? Reach out, proclaim it now and begin your prolonged journey to releasing that inner glow.
