Develop a structured daily routine
Establish a healthy morning and bedtime routine. Having a structured morning and bedtime routine will have a significant impact on your day.
Make a to-do list...
Plan your meals …
Make time for self-care and activities you enjoy...
Make sure your structure suits you!
Even if you don't typically thrive on a strict schedule, having a routine can be helpful in times of unpredictability, uncertainty, and stress.
Implementing a structure to your day can give you a sense of control. It can also improve your focus, organization, and productivity.
Having a routine is about more than just your day-to-day responsibilities and your work—don't forget to make time for self-care.

Thank you ….Structure Your Day
Early birds tend to get things done most effectively before lunchtime while night owls get their burst of energy in the evenings.
Think about when you work best. Then, group your tasks into the time of day that makes the most sense for when you will efficiently complete them.
Mornings: Mornings are often about getting out the door, which can be its own challenge. Group all your early tasks, such as feeding and walking pets, preparing breakfast, or putting dinner in the slow cooker.
For the rest of the morning, consider tasks you'll want to do while you're still fresh. Also, think about tasks that you tend to dread or procrastinate starting.
Schedule them for the morning, so they're not looming over you all day.
Midday: This is a tricky time of day because your energy levels—and perhaps the caffeine from your morning coffee—have likely dissipated.
This is a good time to do the boring, routine stuff that doesn't take a lot of brainpower. Use midday time for tasks like answering emails, setting appointments, and running errands.
If you are based at home during the day, it's a good time to handle routine cleaning, such as emptying and loading the dishwasher or scrubbing the bathroom.
Evening: Evenings work best for planning and preparing for the next day. Lay out your clothes, pack lunches, and declutter the spaces that tend to be drop zones, such as mail piles.
Some people love to have a solid daily routine, while others shudder at the thought of having a predictable schedule. During times of great stress, however, maintaining structure and routine can help you feel more organized and in control.
Having a routine can be helpful at any time, particularly if you are trying to establish healthy habits, but these routines can be particularly important when aspects of your life feel uncertain.

A daily schedule is an excellent way to manage life’s moving parts. It can give you structure, reduce stress, and increase productivity.
When you create your daily schedule template in an online tool, you’ll have the added flexibility to make changes and track updates in real-time. Plus, by visualizing your work in multiple ways, you can plan your day and set yourself up for success.
Sometimes it feels like you don't have enough hours in the day. When this happens, it can be helpful to think of a day not like a single unit, but like 24 hour-long blocks of time.
By separating out each block, you can dedicate specific time for working, socializing, eating, and creating.
When you have a clear understanding of how you're using your time, you won’t always feel like you’ve run out of it. All of us are aware that we need a routine to provide structure and discipline in our lives.
When we were younger, most of us were told to go to bed at a certain time, wake up at a certain time, do our homework after school, eat dinner at a regular hour, shower, even play with our friends at a specific time.

But what about adults?
Many grownups do not have a set daily routine and ‘wing’ their day. They have no idea what they are going to do when they wake up each morning because they have not thought about creating a schedule to adhere to.
As a result, many people feel like they are stressed, anxious, overwhelmed and falling short of their goals and true potential.
The answer lies in carefully designing a routine that works best for each of us, one which helps us be productive, in control, and be the best person we can possibly be.
I used to view having a routine as being boring, rigid, and stifling, and I know that many people share this view. They live their lives in a capricious and whimsical manner, believing that it frees them somehow.
On the contrary, I have learned that designing and adhering to a personal daily routine is the path to freedom, productivity, happiness, and fulfilling our true potential.
All of us would be better off with a set routine.

1yIt's one thing about being in school right now. I usually am very habitual, but for half a year now, all my old routines are out the window. It will be some time before I can develop a reliable new routine.

1yMakes You More Efficient When we have a routine that we follow daily, it reduces the need to make decisions each day. It enables us to know exactly what tasks we need to do each day without having to contemplate, decide or think too much. When we are finished with one task, we know what comes next without much thought. Activities become standardized and we become more efficient as a result.
