CORR to SCORE! (Culture of Reverse Reviews)
Today I'd like to share more about what makes my personal experience with my team & teams we work with FRIDAY level FANTASTIC! :)
CORR (Culture of Reverse Review, patent pending) :) is my personal mantra & very much at the heart of the solution to fast forwarding to successful teams, successful ecosystems & successful companies.
Carefully replicating each & every brick from a normal review process (manager to subordinate, mentor to mentee, etc) and TOTALLY REVERSING it (Neutralizing any possible review impact by taking away imaginary reporting lines - so subordinates feel comfortable enough to share their feedback of what's affecting their productivity as candidly as possible)
to gain insights into what Managers can do one better to get out of the way of potential high performance teams, to literally GETTING OUT OF THE WAY & letting the teams be to do what they do best, is a potential goldmine of a best practice which removes a lot of the toxic over reporting culture - which we've learnt especially during these lock-down months/year - is as much of a necessity as brushing your teeth twice in the morning. :)
I make it a point to ask my teams - what is it that slows them down or stops them from doing their work the best? Then - Identify, study, eliminate. Fast forward! Even if it means it is something I do that is unhelpful to them, I STEP BACK. BIGTIME.
Because I have hired right - I trust my team to KICK ASS. There is no one template to productivity, just being happy when you're doing good work - & for that you need to be in a FLOW (my favourite zone), & to be in the FLOW state - you need to eliminate everything that is absolutely unnecessary . Which is where CORR empowers teams to become Super teams!
Have a Happy Friday!

2yI'm so glad to see that as a Human Resource leader you believe in the FLOW state Neha Asthana . Yes, 4 hrs of work in the Flow state is equivalent to 8 hrs of work done in a frazzled and a 'scared-to-make-a-mistake' state of mind.

3yGreat practice! In these times of WFH it is very important as we don’t get to see people and their emotions. Even with video calling capibilities being restricted a common forum on a weekly basis to have a open dialogue will go a long way to help our team perform better. Best practice to implement!
