#continuechange

#continuechange

I grew up in Section 8 housing, but now I own a digital marketing agency that makes for an extremely comfortable and privileged existence.

For me, this challenging juxtaposition becomes especially apparent as I take time to reflect on the COVID pandemic and the unfolding crisis (one that will clearly hit harder for those in underserved communities) that our non-profits will be fighting from the front lines for the next 6-24 months as the pandemic's damage ripples through our communities.

I have found myself thinking – what can I do that matters here?

After many conversations with friends in the non-profit space, I know that many of them are wrestling with big questions right now...

  • How do we take an upcoming fundraising event and "pivot" to a virtual format?
  • How do we update our marketing and communications to fit this world? How do we avoid being tone deaf while still reaching out to those that want to give or receive help?
  • Are the Adwords and Facebook grants we're hearing about something that we should be acting on?
  • How do we create content in a world where video and photography are often becoming temporarily impossible?

With all of this in mind, Symposia is launching a virtual education series that we're calling #ContinueChange.

Our purpose is to support non-profits as they wrestle with the best way to create impact in a changing landscape.

I've seen my share of boring webinars in the last few weeks.

We don't want to just "add to the noise."

We are skilled marketers. We have a bit of downtime with work being slower than usual...and we want to do something meaningful.

We need your help.

  1. If you know someone that would benefit from this, please share the registration link with them: www.symposialabs.com/continuechange
  2. If you know of someone that has an important voice in this space, please consider introducing them to me via email ([email protected]).
  3. If you or a non-profit that you're working with has a question that you think should be included in this dialog, I'd love for you to leave it as a comment on this post.
