Tax time can be a headache, but at Reckon, we’re all for small, so let’s dig into the financial tips and insights you need to hit the ground running and have a smooth, rewarding tax season.
Which Australian cities are the best places to start a business?
Location, location, location. Reckon’s latest report, Start Up Cities, revealed the best places in Australia to start a business.
We analysed ABS data from the fifty largest cities in Australia to compare the cost of living, talent pool, internet speed, resources, and more, and the results surprised even us.
Overwhelmingly, the best places to start a business are in Victoria and Queensland, including Geelong, Melbourne, and Toowoomba. Places like Sydney and Greater NSW, however, had quite a poor showing — mostly due to the high cost of living.
Listen to Reckon CEO Sam Allert discuss the results on ABC NSW Drive. Head to our website to get more stats and download the full report.
Our brand has a fresh new look!
Grapefruit has never looked better. Reckon launched a major brand refresh this April – a project that’s been months in the making.
Our new look features vibrant colours, minimalist design, and friendly, accessible messaging. After all, we’re Reckon: the accounting and payroll software made for every small business. We wanted branding that matched who we are, inside and out.
Our main website and social media pages have already been “glowed up”, and we hope to roll out the new style to key touchpoints soon, like the Reckon mobile apps. Watch this space!
