CommandWear Selected for US DHS Smart City Program
We are please to be selected into the US Department of Homeland Security's Smart City technology program. CommandWear was one of thirteen companies selected after a highly competitive, global selection process. The goal of this program is to get tools into new commercial markets that benefit first responders, DHS components and industry partners.
"The research and development work will focus on in-building sensors, unmanned aerial systems and on/off-body mobile SmartHubs, each of which will combine communications and sensors to increase responder situational awareness, building security and enhance mission-critical operations." CommandWear's wearable and mobile situational awareness platform and apps will be used for the SmartHub project and field tested by first response agencies.

6yCongratulations Mike!
Fully retired and loving it.
6yWell done Mike. Sorry I haven’t got to replying to your email but I’ve had some heart issues - now have a stent and am going in for surgery on Tuesday to remove a lump just under my right ear (parotidectomy) so I’ll be out of commission for a bit. Ah aging but it’s still fun.
