Booster Launches Tipping for our Service Professionals

Booster Launches Tipping for our Service Professionals

Our team at Booster has come together to eliminate the gas station errand for everyone, without charging a penny more. This will never change!

Every week we hear feedback from customers like Jolynn, Phillip, and Sisifo who want to thank our service professionals:

“Thank you guys for the awesome service! are we allowed to tip?” Sisifo in San Jose, CA

“Please give my thanks to Quentin. I wish there was a way to provide a tip.” – Phillip in Frisco, TX

“Is there a way to tip the team?” Jolynn in Plano, TX

Our awesome customers have left tips inside fuel doors, under windshield wipers, and within a handshake.

Today, we’re proud to launch the option to tip our service professionals within the Booster app. As we do so, I want to share a few thoughts:

First, tipping is never expected. Tipping is always 100% optional. We’re building Booster for our customers, to deliver gas, save time and bring a smile to your face when you head home for the day. We know that no one wants to pay extra for gas and that’s why Booster offers great pricing with same day free delivery. Always.

Second, know that every Booster service professional is a full-time employee with ownership in the company and full health benefits. We believe that real, local, jobs are the cornerstone of our communities. Our service professionals are the magic behind the quality of our service. They ideate most of our best product enhancements. When we proposed tipping, many of our service professionals were cautious to proceed. The team selflessly cares most about customer perception and customer experience over all else.

Third, 100% of every tip goes directly to your service professional. We hear from customers how much the little interactions matter. Maybe Cesar noticed a dangerously low-tread tire. Or Loah accommodates a special request. Or Steve delivers in record time. Or Jay takes time to walk through the service experience face to face. Or maybe it’s just a good day. Whatever the reason may be, that recognition goes straight to the service professional. Always.

Frank I can not sleep because of your success. I am 30 years old and just got laid off and have 3 kids. I was watching world star app. And seen your company and your bio. Well Frank I not only just lost my job and it's Christmas but my sister Melissa passed away 10/24. And she liked raise me and in 8th grade I had an assignment well project which was to make an invention and myself and with the help of my sister Melissa and my father Edmund. Us 3 with my idea got an A on my project that was presented to the class in 1999 Jan 4th. Was to have a company that delivers fuel directly to you at your place of employment or home. I wanted to focus more on home only being I am from buffalo ny and was also adding the service of de icing and brushing off your car to save you 20 mins in the Cold and fill your tank. Now I see this and it's like the tip of the iceberg. Man I wish you all the best and hope you succeed but it's killing me . Anyway my name is Brian White I'm 30 now living in North Port Florida having a black cloud over my head for 1month hopefully it gets better my number is 941 914 8599 and [email protected]
