What a month! One month ago in Amsterdam on B Corp Summit, one week ago in Warsaw on the Dinner of the Friends of B Corps. In Amsterdam at the Summit, with one B Corp on the market (Benefit Systems), one hopefully soon to join (Netguru) and many Poles and attendees from CEE we have sent a clear message to the B Corp community of nearly 700 participants: Polish and Central European companies and biz leaders are joining the movement on growing scale. Engaged, motivated and knowing really well why we are doing so. In Warsaw we met as a group of nearly 50 biz leaders, scientists, impact led startup founders - friends of the B Corp Movement to discuss "how to fix the world in 10 years"? (thank you Klara Kowtun for the title!). Poland after 30 years of transformation, successes and failures, has been building up a strong economy and the society - getting modernized fast and understanding the challenges of nowadays. Now it is the time to contribute, it is the time to SHARE, which was a key word of our meeting. Millions x thank you: Thank you B Lab Europe, Benefit Systems, Netguru for helping us to make it happen. Thank you Marcello Palazzi, Christoph Fauconnier, Katie Hill for your involving and thoughtful speeches, thank you to our friends who devoted their time, attention and creativity joining the discussion on how to respond to the challenge in practical terms. Thank you Wojtek Baginski and Monika Grybska and Goodbrand / Better team - Kinga Sowik, Karolina Błońska, Anna Kowalska, Tomasz Stemplewski for making this event flying. There are much more to share than these few pictures, and much more to come soon, we are just starting :) It's time for a new vision. We call for an end to shareholder primacy and a new era where business prioritises the needs of all stakeholders.
