Attachment and Trauma training for foster carers and residential care staff

I'm going to be recording some of my training to make a whole course available as an online modular training. The idea is to help give an overview of the evidence in an accessible way, with regard to the impact of abuse, trauma and difficult attachment relationships, and how you can care for the children who have experienced this - in terms of understanding why they behave as they do, managing the challenging behaviour and building a healthy relationship. The training will be consistent with the content in my book, Attachment in Common Sense and Doodles, and we will give the option of attending whole day trainings, with 4 hour-long modules, or half day sessions with two. We have reduced charges whilst I get used to the new webinar software and prepare to record the content, so please get in touch if you want to attend. We have a variety of dates, and [email protected] is the point of contact for booking your place.

Just spotted that it published a part-written draft of this post, so have updated it to at least finish my sentence. Not that it makes a big difference - I'm sure you got the just from the headlines!
