40 Years Anniversary Cycle Tour in Utrecht

The day after the International Cargo Bike Festival , October 27, 2024, the Dutch Recumbent Cycling Association NVHPV invites everyone to join the celebration of their 40th anniversary at SV Kampong. They open their doors wide to all people who are somehow connected to ‘the bicycle’, member or not. The bicycle in all its manifestations has an increasing impact on mobility, but also on our personal health. The comfortable recumbent bike, trike, velomobile and cargo bike deserve a full place next to conventional 'upright' bicycles and other vehicles. The recumbent bicycle association shows this by concluding the Dutch Cycling Week , which is so important for bicycles and cyclists, together with the Utrecht Cyclists' Union (Fietsersbond Utrecht) and the International Cargo Bike Festival, with two bicycle tours, lectures and the organization of a fair in which recumbent bicycle suppliers can demonstrate their technical skills. and appearance, show the most modern range.

The Anniversary Cycle Tour of 20 km in and around Utrecht includes the Dafne Schippers Bridge, CS huge bicycle parking, and a media moment at Domplein. The cycle tour is open to all types of bicycles: recumbent bicycles, tandems, cargo bikes, duo cycles, hand bikes, ‘OV-fiets’, city bicycles, racing bicycles, etc.
