AI Creating Slides (PowerPoint) with Gamma

I've used a few tools to create slides on the run. Here is the info I gave GammaApp (free version) and what it came up with. And some tips:

Laurel TIP: have ChatGPT rewrite the prompt for you. I think the temperature parameter is set low in Gamma so the 6 slides revealed nothing and thought about nothing extra. For example, GPT and ChatGPT do not access user data directly or "retrain", but wrappers can be anything with anyone (the wrapper sits between the user and the API so yeah, whatever you trust the wrapper company with).

I forgot to put the system prompt of "please use UK/Australian English not American English grammar and spelling". But you can change language on first edit screen. NOTE: I could not get back to here, so be careful: later you have to regenerate (Duplicate) and use credits to fix (or use the edit screen for small edits).

Themes are not a huge AI benefit but the Title slide (first one) was techie/geeky/AI looking. I'm not a big fan of busy slides and think there is a real skill in providing Zen education but YMMV (your mileage may vary). I also often wear black because deciding on colours is a boring task. 😝

The free trial (400 credits, about 40 credits per slidedeck) is enough at the moment to test and play. There is no moat here - Google Bard with Palm2 will add LLM to Google slides by, oh, Christmas 2023? Or tomorrow? Anyway, enjoy!
