89 Questions To Answer For Your Best 2020

Clarity on your situation can take away so much fear. By understanding where you are in life and what kind of life you want, you can create freedom. Most people create lists to work their way through. These lists tend to be about jobs that need completing at work, at home, for the children, for your friends. 

How often do you create lists for you? How often do you plan for YOUR future in a way that enables you to feel fulfilled and happy, rather than just existing. 

Below I have written some questions to help you create the life you want to really lead.

If you feel in any way that you want a better or different life to the one you have now, I can guarantee this process will help you get clarity on how to change your situation.

Your wellbeing focuses on your health and happiness. Without being “well” you cannot achieve what you want to achieve in life. This section will help you get clear on how to bring more joy into your life and who you should spend more time with. 

  • Which people would you like to reconnect with that you have lost contact with? 
  • Which people do you admire?
  • Which people in your life motivate you?  
  • Which people in your life keep you grounded? 
  • Who is the one person you would like to know better in 2020? 
  • Who is your favourite someone? (Describe the person who makes your life special, if you don't have someone, then write out the characteristics that a special someone might have).
  • Which things do you treasure most in life? 
  • Which things do you feel lost without? 
  • What is something you wish someone had told you when you were younger? 
  • What valuable lessons from your childhood have sustained you through life? 
  • What is the best advice you have ever been given?

Whilst we should not run from our current situations, planning an escape and giving yourself space will give you a chance to reflect on your life and appreciate what makes you and it special.

  • Describe your best day: How would you wake up, what would you eat, who would you see, what would you do, what time would you go to bed, where would you spend your day? 
  • What activities do you like to partake in? 
  • What activities would you like to try? 
  • What local places would you like to explore?
  • What places in your country would you like to explore?
  • Where in the world would you like to explore? (Countries, cities, experiences)

  • What jobs do you need to complete at home in the next 30 days? 
  • What could you complete in the next 6 months?

  • What do you need to give to charity, send to storage, recycle, bin? 
  • What are you holding on to, and why?

The above questions can be answered in one sitting or over a number of days, weeks and months. Revisit them. Understand the answers with your mind, but remember to feel the emotion behind your words. All too often I see people focus on things that keep them functioning but not living. 

I leave you with this one final thought -

Anyone who has ever flown has heard these words: “Should a drop in cabin pressure occur, put your own mask on first.” Yes, in order to help others, you must take care of yourself first.
