By the first half of 2020 Shumee has reached almost a 3-fold YtoY growth, achieved almost 4m EURO GMV and serviced 42k transactions.

Shumee USP is a cross-border e-commerce ecosystem operating in 12 countries (aiming at 28). 

Our value proposition is:

• one solution for producers and distributors to enter all UE e-commerce markets,

• smooth and time-saving cross-border expansion through existing marketplaces,

• extremely vast product portfolio thanks to Chinese partners,

• a low-cost operational model that provides unmatched low prices,

• customer ownership - penetration and conversion of customers to the Shumee platform,

• no marketing expenses and limited IT expenses for producers and distribiutors.

We have a working business model with strong USP operating on 12 EU markets through 35 marketplaces. We sell more than 0,2m SKU from more than 50 producers and distributors, i.a. the biggest discount networks in Europe like Pepco or TXM.

Europe is a diversified and demanding market, yet with constantly growing potential in e-commerce. European e-com opportunities include: 500 m citizens, 500 Bn Euro turnover in e-commerce, approx. 15% growth y/y.

However, Europe is also very challenging due to cultural diversity, national languages, various purchase and payment habits and local legal regulations. 

The problem of European e-commerce lies in a lack of single solution enabling sales to scale-up across all EU countries. Shumee responds to this challenge by pan-European e-com ecosystem.

Our operational model is an end to end value chain enabling to sell all around EU. Shumee connects supplied goods (using dropshipping or its own warehouse) with end customers buying on local marketplaces. Currently we are building a global European Customer base and converting it into its own instance in Poland and five future www instances.

Additionally, we are creating ‘a New Silk Super Highway’ and establishing strong direct relations with Chinese suppliers in order to offer thousands of good value for money products from our warehouse with prompt delivery. In Poland you can see our portfolio of products on www.shumee.pl.
