3 things to see in Barcelona this October: Park Güell, Sagrada Família, Veranova at CPHI!

After celebrating our first year as an independent CDMO in June, Veranova is delighted to be heading into its second CPHI Worldwide event.

From October 24-26 2023, the Veranova team will be in Barcelona, Spain, ready to discuss the latest developments in the pharmaceutical industry with fellow leaders in the field.

But Veranova is not the only thing you can see in Barcelona this October. The city is filled with a rich history of architecture and stunning views.

1.Park Güell

A short walk up Carmel Hill will take you to the Gràcia district, home to just one of the many collections of buildings designed by the great Antoni Gaudí. Set inside the privatized park system, Park Güell boasts panoramic views across Barcelona as well as an array of mosaic sculptures and houses.

2.Sagrada Família

Closer to the city, in the Eixample district, you’ll find yet more incredible buildings designed by Gaudí, including the Basílica de la Sagrada Família. Still under construction, this UNESCO World Heritage Site combines Gothic and Art Nouveau architectural styles.

3.Veranova at CPHI

And just south-west of the centre, you’ll find the municipality of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, home to this year’s CPHI Worldwide. Veranova will be at Fira Barcelona Gran Via towards the end of October, helping you discover new ways to advance your science.
