She didn’t have it easy, but that’s what life is about, isn’t it?  It’s about meeting the challenges where they are, and facing them head on.  This is probably my most favorite Eleanor Roosevelt quote ever.

🕯️ Light Your Path with Purpose: Instead of dwelling on challenges, focus on your purpose. Define your career goals and align them with your passions and values. Let your purpose guide your actions and decisions, igniting a clear path towards success.

Do you know the 3 most common mistakes made on LinkedIn that keep you from getting offers for the lucrative positions you desire?

The first one is optimizing your profile and that’s an easy fix.  The short answer is to have a compelling headline that tells me your brand.  Check out the video for the complete explanation of how to navigate this, and for the two other major mistakes.

If I had to pick one word that is an essential component of having energizing work, connection is it.  You won’t be successful in either without connecting with others.  It doesn’t matter what technology is at your disposal, and it doesn’t matter if you have a great resume or background.  Connecting with others is the game changer.  

Let’s all embrace this new day and commit to connecting with others, especially those with different experiences, skill sets, and geographies. For example, it was great to share ideas with Debbie Dunn-Boysen today.  It goes to show you that even if a person is outside your speciality-area, they could offer you ideas that you don’t expect.\
