It goes without saying that 2020 was devastating to the theatre industry.

Commercial theatre has been struck particularly hard with little or no support.

At London Theatre Direct, we've done everything in our power to support our industry and talent, providing excellent customer service to loyal West End audiences, working to inform the public and stay relevant, providing a platform for creatives and freelancers on social media and by exploring new ways of working and building out new technology and distribution partnerships for when the curtains rise again.

Any time a producer has asked for support, we’ve been there - advertising, marketing, and selling for shows we had no certainty would take place, and diligently refunding and exchanging almost a year’s worth of bookings, doing our utmost to transfer audiences into future performances.

I couldn’t be prouder of our hard-working, loyal, and dedicated team. Despite extraordinarily difficult times, each and every one of them has proven why they are the very best in our industry.

In 2021, we stand ready as the leading West End ticket sales, technology, and distribution platform, to support all shows, producers, venues, creatives, artists, front and backstage teams, distribution partners, and competitors.
