Potential Fraud Alert

IMPORTANT NOTE TO JOB APPLICANTS: POTENTIAL FRAUD ALERT. Stryker has become aware of a fraud where unknown entities are holding themselves out as Stryker in an attempt to obtain personal information from individuals. The fraud is designed to encourage people to submit personal information about themselves in applying to phony jobs. The entities committing this fraud will use names of individuals at Stryker in the postings and the in communications with candidates. Before submitting any information, you should confirm all that the job is listed on the Stryker site. Stryker posts open roles at its Stryker.com website and any applications should be submitted through the service connected to that site.

Neither Stryker Corporation nor any of its subsidiaries or affiliates conducts job interviews via AOL Instant Messenger or any other online “chat” service. Any request to conduct an interview via those means is not legitimate and should not be accepted. Stryker also does not require or ask for the payment of any money in connection with a legitimate job interview process or job offer.

Moreover, all legitimate Stryker e-mail addresses end with “@stryker.com.” Any e-mail communication from an address ending in anything other than “@stryker.com,” such as “@strykerworkteam.us” or “@aol.com,” is an illegitimate communication which did not originate from Stryker and should be disregarded.

If you believe you have received a false job posting or victim of potential fraud, please contact Andrew Quesnelle at Stryker by e-mailing [email protected].
