🦋 Say Hello to BlueSky: The Future of Social Media? BlueSky, the decentralized brainchild of Jack Dorsey, is the indie alternative to Twitter that’s got everyone talking. With big names like Chrissy Teigen, Ann Hadley and Mark Cuban already on board– it still feels intimate, like being part of an insider's club. Why care? No Algorithms Taking Over – you see what you want. Decentralized freedom – You have more control over your experience Get in early – it’s your chance to shape the vibe. From a Marketer’s perspective- BlueSky is trying to do something none of the other social platforms has tried to do: to be an open-source platform which means that we would be able to integrate all the comments and all the feeds on to different websites and within other social platforms. Definitely something to consider! Handles on BlueSky are quirky – they look like URLs (e.g., @yourname.bsky.social), so choose wisely. It’s a chance to reflect your personality or brand in a creative way. Are you a Creative.Chef.bsky.social” or a “trendsetter.bsky.social”? What would your handle be? Drop it below! 👇

If you're not active on Bluesky Social, you may be missing a trick. 🦋 I'm so energized by the concept of decentralized social media and excited to get more active there. Owning your content and your audience? I'll take the lot! (If this is Greek to you, I'm DEEP in research on this and the fediverse, so seriously, AMA. Let's chat). Three other reasons to consider joining the platform: 1. It's like old Twitter, but innovative.✨ 2. YOU can create your own algorithm (right??). 3. The best time to grow your audience is when a platform is in its infancy. 👀 Adding another social network to your stack isn't something that should be taken lightly, but Buffer makes this about 1,000X easier. Helpful links and resources below. P.S. Buffer support for Bluesky *just* dropped! P.P.S If you read a particular line in this post in Harry Potter’s voice, let's be friends.

Let's talk about why Bluesky Social might be your next favorite platform! Why join? Here are some cool reasons: 🔵 It's decentralized - meaning no single company owns all your data. You have more power over your online presence. 🔵 The feed is customizable - say goodbye to mysterious algorithms! You decide what you want to see. 🔵 It's still growing - join now and be part of shaping a new social media landscape. I've been exploring Bluesky, and it feels like a breath of fresh air. It's simpler, and somehow remind me of old Twitter. Curious? Why not give it a try? You can find me @zeinebzen https://lnkd.in/eyA7VNqK

Bluesky: to join or not to join, that is the question! I’m experiencing FOMO but want to cultivate JOMO (joy of missing out). As someone who has never been on twitter (gasp!) and is quite happy over on Substack, do I really need to add one more social platform? Tell me your experience! How does it feel over there and what are you getting from it?
