This is the only "copy trading" I would ever do. I am a big fan of Bill Ackman's investing style and story of success. He started virtually from nothing. Going backwards can move you forwards. If you inherit a team and a system (lets say a square) and the team against all your will operate around that square instead of inside it, it's time to question, why? That square that you've inherited/put in place, may not be the right shape. Don't fall into the negativity loop and criticise the square - it is what it is. Don't get stuck focusing on what it can't do. Instead, look to what you want in the first place, lay out your perfect process or system, without restriction, what if that square could do anything? Perhaps you can round an edge here or there and make it more comfortable to operate within, maybe you didn't actually know what the square was or what it could do and perhaps the square was never the right shape for the job. Taking fresh eyes to an old problem can unlock inspiration and knowledge that you missed because you focused on the 'can't' Compliance is full of issues just like this and against popular opinion, we are not the party of 'can't', we are the party of 'can'. Don't get stuck!

In the early 90s, Times Square was a seedy, crime-ridden area in disrepair. However, a group of land developers saw the potential to transform this iconic intersection into a world-class destination. Their vision was ambitious. They began by reclaiming the streets, cracking down on adult entertainment businesses, and clearing out unsavory elements. This allowed them to pedestrianize key areas and create inviting public spaces. Attracting major tenants was crucial. Securing anchor tenants like Disney, AMC, and Madame Tussauds signaled that Times Square was back and open for business. With crime rates dropping, they could justify investing in new commercial and residential towers. Premium office space, hotels, and retail filled the area with around-the-clock activity. Not everyone supported the changes initially. Critics complained about displacing long-time residents and "Disneyfying" the neighborhood's gritty character. But the developers stayed the course, and today, Times Square shines as a premier entertainment and commercial hub. The numbers speak for themselves: billions in investment, soaring property values, and a total revitalization.
