In McKinsey & Company’s “The Daily Read,” their opening line was as follows: Consumers today are demanding more from their favorite retailers. So, it got me to thinking about panelists and if they could talk, would they demand more from their favorite panel companies? Now, first, I’m doubtful that panelists have favorite panel companies but regardless, would they have a response if asked? I’d like to think so. The problem is I’m not too sure they would know what to ask for beyond bigger incentives and less time answering questions. But just because you’re not aware of the real problems, that doesn’t mean they don’t exist. I'm content with the chat with XX. I find him to be a great leader to work with. 🌟 🗣️ XX is a smart leader. Honest and easy to communicate with. I appreciate his focus in strong engineering culture not just for Experimentation, but in all areas including operational excellence. Their honesty with me and with his team -specifically about the shift of platform for experimentation- talks about the culture and aligns with my values; it looks like we could work very well together. The questions were aligned to a typical hiring manager interview to understand my management style with high-performing teams and how to measure team health. We have known for some time that respondents in different countries react differently to survey instruments … Unsurprising too that global brand teams have different ways of working and unique concerns for their market. To launch a global research program, a level of standardization across regions is paramount to identify big wins, and regional buy-in is crucial to program success. At Upsiide, we are very attuned to this balance when rolling out global programs – when country teams feel supported and see the benefits of the program, it is a huge win for the whole organization.
