❓If you're new to digital marketing and looking to create a digital footprint for your company (regardless of its size), the best thing you can do is write (or rewrite) a decent web copy. Then, you can start working on a content strategy. Meaning: you shouldn't go around investing in a blog/Ads/social media person until you lay out your exact "content strategy". ❓Your content strategy needs to be aligned with your current business (sales & marketing) objectives. There is no "one-size-fits-all" solution for content strategies. The objectives you aim to achieve and your timeline, both dictate the aspects of your strategy. https://ytcopywriter.com/ #Yasmeen_the_copywriter #contentmarketing #contentstrategy

Never let perfection be the enemy of good enough. This is doubly true when working with vendors. Good people aren't inexpensive to work with! That's why it's critical to communicate clearly what you would like and know when to adjust your standards. Let's look at content marketing. You should expect excellence when contracting a copywriter for new messaging during a brand update. You can't compromise when it comes to having a clear value proposition that resonates with your customer. But that next blog post... Do you need the blog images to be designed by your creative director? Or is your copywriter willing to play around a bit in Canva and develop something close enough? Remember that 90% of the things we try in marketing will have a "meh" response. Save your highest standards for the initiatives that will make or break your pipeline number and clearly set expectations before agreeing to a contract. Everyone will benefit. #agencyceo #b2bmarketing #digitalmarketing

"It's just one sales page. Surely you can whip that up in a day or so, right?" 🤔 Most copywriters are super used to people misunderstanding what we do. Of course, what you see in a copywriter’s portfolio is… writing. Something most of us learn to do in school at some level. So it makes sense to think our job is easy, that anyone (or any LLM for that matter) could do it. …right? Nope. What good copywriters charge for is: ✅ Constant iteration and testing, so we know the best action plan for your marketing goals ✅ Hours and hours of time - and often thousands invested in - conversion copy & strategy training ✅ Years studying the direct response greats, hand-copying, and leveling up our skills ✅ 100s of completed projects + all the research and data analysis that went into each one Each piece of copy you put into the world isn’t just an arrangement of words that sound good. It’s your 24/7 sales team - expertly trained in conversion strategy, consumer psychology, your audience’s needs, and your brand’s core values. The copy we write sells your offers. It connects with your people. It fortifies your reputation. In the long run, it’s better to invest in high-quality copywriting… than to lose customers because your copy doesn’t resonate or sell like it could. Thoughts? Are there any common misconceptions about what *you* do?

How can the 4Ps help you convert leads into customers? When structuring your copy, you don’t need to do too much. Why? Because you can choose a model that’s proven to work and get the best out of it. The 4Ps framework I’m going to show you today is one that's not so common but is very powerful if you know how to use it. I learned about it from the legendary copywriter, Bob Bly. Here’s what 4Ps means: Promise -> Picture -> Proof -> Push. Let me expand on it a bit. The first "P" is about making a promise to the reader, revealing something to them. The second "P" means helping the reader picture how the product improves their life, envisioning a better life by using your product. The third "P" essentially says you need to remove any doubts your prospects have about the product by showing proof that it can do what you claim. The fourth and final "P" is about pushing the reader to take action and buy what you are offering. This could be done by creating a sense of urgency or scarcity. There you go. Use this as soon as you can and see the results for yourself. Hope this helps. Share your thoughts below. PS: I share more copywriting techniques with my email list. Join here: Samuelabayomi.com.

Struggling to get more clients online? Here’s a simple trick that helped me land more clients without the hassle of traditional “online marketing.” I’m a copywriter, and whenever I jump online, it feels like I’m up against the entire world. Everyone seems to be in the same game. So, I did something different. I bought a plain black t-shirt that just says “copywriter” in small, but readable print. Here’s the key: I started wearing it once or twice a week, just while running errands or going about my day. The result? You’d be surprised how many random conversations it created with people who needed a copywriter. Sometimes, simple offline approaches can lead to the biggest wins. So if you work online and need to land more clients give it a shot. I can’t promise it will work for you, but it’s worked for me, and it could potentially help you land your next big ticket client. And if youre struggling with your marketing or need help “standing out” shoot me a DM. I’ve got more simple solutions that can help you stand out online, and increase your bottom line.
