This is what happens when you prospect from a list... I get DMs and emails like this multiple times a day. There's no possible win here. It tells me you have no clue who I am, what I do, and that you are simply hitting the list you pulled or were supplied. Some of you might say they aren't filtering their lists well enough to get the right results. The fact is, no matter how well you filter and drill down into your list by persona, industry - you get the point, you still have one problem: You end up prospecting to people who may not have the problem(s) you solve, or just acquired another solution from a competitor, or possibly don't even need your solution. Ultimately, all of this-the time spent, the frustration, and the lack of results -underscores the inefficiency of prospecting from a list. As a LinkedIn coach, I show sales professionals how to specifically reach their target audience and that have the problems they solve. It's not just about research; it's about finding the right list and spending more time having conversations that lead to opportunities.
