I had the privilege of attending #RTSPECTRA on February 28th, 2024, my first ever PR event. Among the various keynote sessions by industry experts, one stood out for me which addressed a critical global issue: sustainability. Sustainability should be treated beyond just a buzzword! The session by Namrata Rana in conversation with Vasudevan Rangarajan got me introduced to the concept of 'Net Zero World'. It is a concept focused on achieving zero net greenhouse gas emissions. She mentioned a intriguing "inside, outside, and beside" philosophy, urging us to consider not just the product itself but also its entire lifecycle and impact on the environment. This includes factors like the source of energy used in production, the product's lifespan, and its end-of-life disposal. Our generation will be most impacted by climate change. Everyday decisions of us, both personal and corporate, will significantly influence the world's future. So let's not just "think green", but consistently "act green" to pave the way towards a net-zero world. #sustainablity School of COmmunications & REputation Reputation Today Content Conspiracy Priyanca V. Excited to be speaking on a panel at SXSW next week, come check it out if you're around on March 12! Harnessing the Power of the Ocean: All-Hands-on-Deck: Our oceans are a precious habitat for millions of species, a vital carbon sink, and a key determinant of environmental and human health. They fuel the blue economy by providing an essential food source and acting as an enabler of global trade. They are the new frontier in renewables and next-generation blue tech. But how do we bring these ideas to market, scale an equitable and just clean energy future, and create resilient coastal communities in the face of climate change? This panel will explore how public and private entities are working together to harness the full potential of our oceans.
