Exciting milestone! 🎉 After wrapping up my first week as a Software Engineering Fellow at Headstarter AI. This week has been an incredible journey of coding, learning, and personal growth, and I can't wait to see what the rest of the fellowship brings! Week 2 of the Headstarter AI Fellowship is officially in the books! 📚 I'm amazed at how much we've accomplished already. Here are some key takeaways and progress updates: 🔹Attended enlightening Q&A sessions with Faizan Ahmed, learning about diverse APIs and enhancing my Pantry Tracker app. 🔹Engaged in the Pathways2Tech event, absorbing wisdom from industry leaders. 🔹Conquered a challenge with saving API keys in an env variable - a day well spent on troubleshooting! Let me know guys, if you want me to explain what the issue was and if anyone is having problems regarding env variables or else this post will be endless😂. I have Solved 10000 Problems on Leetcode....... This is me every time I open LinkedIn. It feels like I am the only one who has wasted these two months of summer break because someone has: *built a billion-dollar startup *built an AI that can destroy the human race *solved 10000 problems on Leetcode (this one is not even possible) Well, I can't do all of this right now. But what I can do (to waste the next month also ) is to take on another challenge. Headstarter Project 4 - MemoGenie ✨ I'm excited to share an app that my team and I have been working on - MemoGenie, an AI-powered flashcard generator that's changing the game for students, professionals, and lifelong learners alike. MemoGenie is your AI study buddy that turns any text into smart, personalized flashcards in seconds. No more hours spent creating cards manually - type your text and let our AI do the heavy lifting! This project was a rollercoaster of challenges to learning and implementing new tools and technologies. This journey has helped improve my teamwork and communication skills. One of the challenges we faced was in integrating multiple API's (Stripe API, Clerk API and Openai API) and having all of them work together in a seamless manner. 🔑 Key features: Smart Flashcard Creation: Instantly generate flashcards from any text. AI-Powered: Our AI identifies creates effective Q&A pairs from topics. Secure Authentication: Used clerk API and Firebase for user authentication, enabling a smooth and secure login and sign-up process. Material UI: Used to create a user-friendly interface. Payment: Used stripe API to create a secure payment gateway. I want to extend my gratitude to my amazing teammates Erlisja K. and Muhammed Jaabir for their contributions and dedications. 𝘏𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘈𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘥: Building an 𝑨𝑰 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒑 The "𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐈 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩" hackathon is in full swing, and it's been an incredible learning experience so far! I'm surrounded by brilliant minds, but our team is especially lucky to have P Bola leading the charge. 🚀 P Bola is a communication magician. He has this incredible ability to explain complex ideas in a way that's clear, concise, and keeps everyone on the same page. He is also fantastic at motivating the team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their ideas. ✨ It's my first 𝐡𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧, and I'm so grateful for P Bola's guidance. He has helped me step outside my comfort zone and really push myself. Of course, the journey wouldn't be the same without the amazing platform iCodeGuru (thanks to my teacher Ahmad Jajja for the intro!). It's been a game-changer for connecting with other developers and learning from their expertise. And a big shoutout to Ahmad Jajja for opening the door to the world of hackathons!
