🤩😇I was last-month-years-old when I discovered what a lifesaver Hey.com can be!🤩 PS: this is not a promotional post. Imagine having a platform that not only organizes your emails but also prioritizes them effortlessly 🤔Well, with features like The Screener, you can filter out distractions to ensure only important messages make it to your Imbox... Yeah, you read it right, Imbox. Even better, you can schedule Reply Later mails or have them bubble up (a pop up function) on your Imbox when needed. You can explore labels to organize your mail box, send less important mails to The feed or Paper Trail. Now here's what you will not find in G-Suite 👉a Hey Calendar that allows time-tracking for your tasks and a collaboration feature for all mail threads you'd wanna share with your team [ enough of CC'ing every relevant party in the thread 💧💧💧] 💡 What are your favorite life-hacking tools? I'd love to know what gets you through your busy schedules! 💡 #executiveassistant #virtualassistant

My LinkedIn inbox is a fecking mess Every DM looks like a long ass cold email, paragraphs upon paragraphs, pleasantries, meeting CTAs, and booking links The only cold ones I’ve replied to recently have been unfogivably short and to the point Almost like a text message. One was “Looks like you’re hosting your website on Shopify, do you know your conversion rate?” Another was “Congrats on a year in business!Have you been taking advantage of govt/provincial grants?” Both allude to a problem but focus on starting a conversation vs. pushing a solution Sharing less actually creates more curiosity Here’s the loose framework: “Looks/seems/sounds like {business observation}, have you seen {related problem}?” No solution, no context, no pitch Just super easy to reply to If you get a reply the meeting comes easy If they don’t reply however that’s where I’d use the video feature on mobile (I tend to record these while walking my dog) Less than 30 seconds, to the point: “Hey Josh, bit of context on my last message I saw you’re {business observation}, a lot of folks tell me they’re running into {related problem}. Reason I’m reaching out it because we offer {solution}. Open to checking that out?” Send with a text DM “Some more context” Guarantee that’ll get you more replies & meetings than repurposing a cold email framework

Hey there, I've got a question for you... Slack vs email - which one comes out on top for team communication? Just read this fantastic article from ClickUp that dives deep into the pros and cons of each: Slack vs Email: Which Communication Tool is Best for Your Team? https://lnkd.in/gjCWg-Pu Here are some of the key takeaways: • Slack is great for real-time collab and quick chats, while email is better for formal comms and compliance • Over 4 billion people use email globally, but Slack has 10+ million daily active users • ClickUp brings together the best of both worlds in one powerful platform I've been using Slack and email together for years, but never thought about when to use each one strategically. This article really got me thinking about how to optimize our team's communication at CJ&CO. What do you think? Are you team Slack or team email? Let me know in the comments! Happy Tuesday! Let me know your thoughts. Casey Jones #communication #productivity #teamwork #slack #email

Communicating these days can get complicated. Do you stick with the old-school emails or go out there and use something newer and instant like Slack? There are so many ways to communicate but should you be old-school and stick with the emails or go with the shiny new toy like Slack? Well, it depends on your specific needs and preferences: 📧 Emails: 🔸 Great for formal communication. 🔸Ideal for detailed discussions and documentation. 🔸Offers a clear record of conversations. 🔸It may feel slower for real-time communication. 🔸Your inbox can get full and communications can get lost if not organised. 💬 Slack: 🔸Perfect for quick, real-time chats. 🔸Instant collaboration and feedback. 🔸Supports the use of emojis and reactions 🔸It can sometimes lead to distraction with constant notifications. Ultimately, the choice between emails and Slack depends on factors like the nature of your work, the preferences of your team, and the context of the conversation. Many of my clients have used both. They use Slack to lessen the amount of conversational emails hitting their inbox daily and as Slack is instant it is brilliant for team or 1-1 conversations. Let me know what your preferred way is to communicate with clients. --------- 📎 Hi, I’m Emma, Your friendly second pair of hands, here to help you work on your business instead of in it. 🚀 🕰 If you want to get organised and free up some time send me a DM and we can have a chat about how easy it is to outsource your admin and marketing tasks. #communication #smallbusiness #solopreneur #virtualassistant
