Physical and mental health are not separate. 💡 fightthroughmentalhealth

  • I wish people knew that mental health is physical too. Headaches, dizziness, heart palpitations, fatigue, upset stomach, sweating, shaking, restless legs, feeling like you're going to be sick. It's nit "just in your head".

This is so true. We see this in so many of the children and young people we work with.

It always blows my mind people think they could be separate. Where is the brain located exactly? Inside your physical body. It is a physical part of your body. Your body is a complex set of interdependent biological systems of which the brain is a part of.

Fatigue shaking sweating and restless leg and feeling sick are mine with self hate

It's a cycle of on going physical symptoms which impact upon mental heath, which in turn, consequently impacts physical health.

Over the last 50 decade we learn so much. I look at my mum era when u was born in 70 .They never spoke about things that matter .feeling push aside all because of others thinking it wasn't right.crazy 50 years on sharing to much .feel we need to learn the perfect mixer but I smile today as I feel 4 gen down the line us lady's in my family counts. Adhd and dyslexic is also broken here and celebrating it as my farther brother sent in hospital as it was class madness to today am living my life today so free without jugdment.for their journey not mine and hope my own family does this better than me again and again. And the world will be better place when we know who we all are and everyone has something to offer we all have that something deep inside us .

In my opinion - an outside stimuli - that then starts in mind and if we don’t address the internal world it will become a manifestation of physical symptoms..

A simple note to remind ourselves that there is more to mental health than the mind, the body reacts, embraces, protects ....... as a result of . Overcoming the mental as well as the physical can be often be exhausing in itself

I agree to a degree - but a lot of people I see see these as excuses to not work or quite role they no longer feel they can do and use these as an easy way out of the sick note door. Genuine mental health issues need to be looked at with professional opions and analysis not just waiting a flag around. Al ot of these are so intertwinded as well as some or most of them may be caused by one other. The message hereis Seek professional help at all times if you need - #ReachOut
