What a week it's been at Glitex! 🎉 We started the week with some exciting goals, and by Friday, we’ve exceeded expectations. ✅ We signed a contract with a Kenyan government parastatal. ✅ We sealed a deal with a client all the way in the UAE. Just a few years ago, the idea of expanding beyond Kenya, even Africa, seemed like a distant dream. But today, Glitex is proudly serving clients in 9 countries! It’s a reminder that growth is possible when you keep pushing boundaries, no matter how distant they seem. Now, as we head into the weekend, we’re grateful for the journey and excited for what’s ahead. Here’s to many more milestones! 🥳 How are you wrapping up your week? 🌮 If you don't like tacos, I am nacho type. Innovation is about people. Bottom line. It's about being of service to others. It's about tackling the world's wicked problems for the betterment of humanity. As innovators, we must surround ourselves with the right people in order to create maximum impact. As the saying goes: --> 1/3 of people will hate you --> 1/3 of people won't care --> 1/3 of people will like you We need to find our third of the 🥧. I had a breakthrough in clarity on the problem I'm solving with Navio Platform thanks to connections I've made at Expand North Star GITEX GLOBAL Largest Tech & Startup Show in the World that grew my third of the pie. It's a really, really wicked one. It won't be solved in my lifetime. But I'm ready to leave a legacy in pursuit of solving it. Random Musings #3 Unless you’ve been living under a rock or have no interest in international geopolitics, you’ve probably heard by now that #Israel just pulled off something straight out of a Hollywood spy thriller, maybe better. Imagine hacking (or manipulating) a technology over two decades old, flipping it to your advantage, and doing all this in a hyper-competitive, conflict-ridden world. Israel is a small nation surrounded by hostile neighbours, often outmatched in population and geopolitical influence, facing extreme desert conditions. And yet, through sheer courage, perseverance, innovation, and strategic defence, they continue to survive and thrive. Now, doesn’t that struggle sound oddly familiar (entreprenuers)? You might be small, new, and gearing up to enter the big leagues, surrounded by competition, predators, critics, and naysayers. But the key is to keep your head down, build, innovate, and defend your own. I empathise with the quiet struggles of those long nights, relentless work, and tough decisions. It’s not easy. The path forward rarely is, but the options are limited—push forward or get swallowed up by the noise. Imagine if the Israelis, after the horrors their population faced in WWII, had quit during the subsequent challenges and wars—would they still be here today, leading the world in startups, technology, and entrepreneurship?  Don’t quit.
