🎄 A Festive Week Volunteering at Yorkshire Cancer Research Shops! 🎄 I had such a fantastic time this week working alongside the amazing staff and volunteers at Yorkshire Cancer Research shops. A special shoutout to the incredible teams in Skipton and Knaresborough for making me feel so welcome! Christmas is a busy and exciting time for the shops, with generous donations coming in before and after the holidays. I stayed busy sorting, pricing, arranging stock, and creating eye-catching Christmas displays—a creative and fulfilling experience that also gave me valuable insight into what corporate volunteering is all about. 🌟 Did you know? In 2025, Yorkshire Cancer Research will be opening new shops, so there’s likely to be one near you! Whether you’re looking to volunteer on your own or as part of a workplace initiative, there are plenty of ways to get involved. Many companies, offer paid volunteer days, giving employees the opportunity to support local causes.
