Despite the industry's expansion efforts, retaining talent remains a significant challenge. This not only disrupts operations but also hampers growth prospects. One solution to this pressing issue is #standardization . Restaurants are seeing slower midday traffic during the workweek, but in many cases demand on evenings and weekends more than makes up for it according to digital payments platform Square. Using data across Square’s food and beverage sellers, a graph in the article shows the gain or loss for lunch, happy hour, and weekend traffic for specific cities.
