Have a productive week! We are launching a new section - #lifeinsidethecompany We would like to periodically share insights that we introduce in the team. We have recently started testing one of the options for increasing employee skill levels, namely webinars. Some webinars are held by the management with all departments at the same time, while some are held separately by the heads of each department. The idea itself arose because even after reading the documents, it is difficult for some people to absorb the material and improve their skills. Moreover, some people do not always have the desire or time to read additional literature. And webinars gave us the opportunity to take a break for a while and listen to something useful) So far, we haven't held many webinars, but there have been some on topics such as promoting AI, time management, finding donors, etc. I will say that I have seen a lot of positive things in this. First of all, there is communication - questions are asked, answers are given, and so on, which makes it clear what gaps exist and how to solve them. Also, the team likes this format better, it is better absorbed, and it is convenient to show anything in practice. It was nice to see the preparation of the heads of the department and to see who can teach how (not only performers need to be taught, as it turned out). What do you think of this format of raising employees' skills? Or do you still prefer regulations? 👍 Like | 💬 Comment | ↪️ Share 📍 Follow Yevhen Humeniuk for more lifehacks, tips, and more! 📍

Here's my 2024 LinkedIn Rewind "I still remember that training session..." It's what we love to hear, even years later. In 2024, our 20th anniversary year, we proved again that drama-based learning creates those unforgettable moments that drive real change. "I'm still thinking about how I went through a range of emotions...I originally thought Bob was the problem, but then it became evident that Susie was an issue too and all the time I was thinking about poor Sam. It was amazing!" - Red Hilton, reflecting on our "Oh! It was just banter..." workshop From helping managers navigate generational differences to preparing organizations for new harassment prevention legislation, we saw how forum theatre transforms workplace conversations: Three moments that captured what matters: "20th Anniversary Celebration" On surviving financial crashes, COVID, and business challenges through the power of workplace drama https://lnkd.in/ea78BFY4 How our ECA (Empathy Care Action) model helps managers have better conversations https://lnkd.in/eMbPJEgk Speaking Truth to Power On building the courage to improve workplace culture from within https://lnkd.in/eM-bDpCp Looking ahead to 2025: While AI transforms workplaces, the need for human connection grows stronger. We'll keep creating those "I remember when..." moments that help people have better conversations, prevent harassment, and build more inclusive cultures. Because training doesn't have to be boring to be effective. When clients tell me they still remember specific moments from our forum theatre workshops from 5, 7, or even 10 years ago, I know we're doing something right. That's the power of drama-based learning - it sticks.

💡 With the ever-increasing demand for talent, let's start with who's already in your team! Ensuring a happy and 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱 workforce is key to retention and a high-performing workplace. Yet the added task of developing L&D opportunities for a diverse and potentially hybrid workforce means organisations are having to adapt to ensure 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 practices. So, whether you need to 𝘂𝗽𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 or 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 your team, training options should be made accessible, engaging, and relevant. Breathe's 'Learn' module includes a 𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁-𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 suite of on-demand, online courses. With easy roll-out and automated reminders for completion, take the admin away from your L&D team. Ranging from soft skills to data protection to discrimination training and more, employees will learn key practices, tips and information, followed by a short assessment at the end. On top of this, Breathe's separate 'Training' area enables employees to put in requests for other training they feel may be relevant to them. By supporting employees in having increased control around their development, they will be more 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 and engaged in their learning journey. So consider this your reminder to review how you are addressing your team's development needs versus how you are allocating your L&D budget. Consider the ROI in terms of improved performance levels, 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, and overall organisational success... the business case for investing in employee development is clear. ❔Continuous training at work – what value does it bring to your team? The benefits go beyond developing workplace skills; training also allows your employees to: 🧠 Refresh and think about things in a different way through active participation 🙏 Collaborate as a team to find a solution, away from the day to day 👩💼 Brush up on their skills and learn from each other At RRA, we practice what we preach, so last week alongside Responsible Marketing Agency we got stuck into a day of training led by LookUP. Over the course of the day we split into teams to tackle a brief and develop our storytelling ability. The learning was divided into insightful discussions led by Caroline Keylock and Matthew Hook, with tips from storytelling experts over video, and workshops punctuating the day so every team member could share their input💭 . Employees who have access to continuous learning are 47% more likely to be engaged at work (Gallup) while 40% of employees leave within the first year due to poor training – (go2HR - the resource for people in tourism). You’re missing out if training is not an integral part of your employee support mechanism. #CorporateTraining #PositiveWorkCulture #WorkplaceWellbeing

Gosh - well that's certainly felt like a lively 10 days or so in the life of POINT3 Wellbeing | B Corp Certified! Over the past few weeks Sarah Mayo and I have spent 3 days delivering Human Skills training in the "real world" (don't tell "virtual" - but "real" is 💯 our favourite place to train!) and 2 days delivering Human Skills training in the "virtual world" (you still have a big place in our hearts). We've reconnected with our #MHFAider community and we've brought a group of our wonderful HR & People Professionals together. Contacts from the past have been in touch - and we've met some inspiring new people too. Above all else - it's been a few weeks packed-full of Human Connections - and THAT'S what it's all about! We've been trying to put into words "why" Human Skills Training is important (see below what we've come up with - what do you think?!). And ultimately it's this feeling of connection I'm experiencing right now - that's giving me the energy to push forward to be the best that I can be... which feels good for me and in turn I hope will prove good for POINT3 Wellbeing | B Corp Certified too! #HumanSkills #Training #WorkplaceTraining #HumanTeams #HumanLeadership #HumanConnections
